2014 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Augustine Literacy Project®. ALP was founded in 1994 by Linda McDonough with the support of the Rector and vestry of Church of the Holy Family in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In honor of twenty years of successful tutoring, we have created a compilation of phonetically controlled stories written by our wonderful army of dedicated tutors. We continue to incorporate new stories.
2016 marks another milestone for the Augustine Literacy Project®. We are now a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) corporation. This new status gives ALP the ability to expand access to resources & capacity in order to reach more low income children who are struggling with literacy!
What does this mean for you??
